Fair FAQs

The 2020 Arlington County Fair runs from August 12-16, 2020 at the Thomas Jefferson Community Center, 3501 Second Street South, 22204. Admission is FREE!

Here are answers to some frequently asked questions:

ADMISSION & COSTS: Admission to the Fair is FREE. Ride Ticket prices are listed on our website and can be purchased at the Fair. All activities on our Indoor StageOutdoor Stage and Kids’ Court are free of charge as well.

COMPETITIVE EXHIBITS: 2020 Competitive Exhibit info is coming soon! For more information, visit the visit the Competitive Exhibits webpage.

DOGS PERMITTED? Yes, they are permitted on the outdoor fairgrounds with a leash. Only service animals are permitted on shuttles and indoors.

ENTERTAINMENT: Check out all of the amazing 2020 acts on the Indoor and Outdoor Stages.

HOURS? Hours vary each day, as well as for our indoor and outdoor activities. You can find more information here.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS: The printed program can be picked up at the Fair (near shuttle drop-off and information desk) and will be up on the website soon. A full schedule of events can be found here.

SHUTTLES & PARKING: Shuttles start running 30 minutes prior to opening hours each day and several ART/WMATA bus routes run nearby. Strollers are permitted on the shuttles, but you may need to fold them up due to limited space. There is no public parking at the Fair. More information can be found here.

VENDORS: Apply to be a food or indoor vendor for the 2020 Fair!

VOLUNTEERS: Information on 2019 Volunteer registration will be available here in early 2019. No walk-up volunteers will be accepted.
